'Stroud Green' olive oil is still available from Stroud Green Fruit & Veg (Ash's shop near Cats restaurant in Stroud Green Road) or direct from me. Watch out for my next oil clinic!
Another satisfied customer! Thanks, Jenny. The Sugar Lounge is a fine bar but not the best place to serve as an olive oil pick-up joint. I'm leaving half a dozen bottles there for the time being but will be organising a different and much easier outlet very shortly. I'm driving to Italy this weekend and will be back with significant quantities of finest new season Abruzzo olive oil in a week's time - watch this space!
It's here! The new (November 2012) Stroud Green olive oil from Abruzzo, Italy, is now for sale at Stroud Green Fruit and Veg (Ash's shop near Cats).
we took 2 bottles to Lorne Road today and it is great.one is a gift for abdul and cassie who are experts in olive oil. the shop has now run out so suggest you send some more. you should also have a display and some pictures of the farm etc to get noticed. well done. chang
Has it really run out? I just called Ash and he said there were loads when he left the shop at 3 o'clock, meybe there's been a Friday afternoon rush. Are you sure you were in the right place? :-)
The veg shop just about opp Petek? I had the last two from top shelf. And aArkady if u call me a liar again it will be regretable. With or with olive oil. chang
Now then, now then chaps. Yes opposite Petek ..... there are still loads of bottles on top of the central display, all standing to attention like soldiers. There were several last night and I am pretty sure that Ash has at least a dozen in the back - I'll check.

I'll be flogging the stuff at Harringey Market in Falkland Road on the ladder tomorrow.
Today only (Thursday) I'll be selling Stroud Green Olive Oil and *a range of other gourmet Italian foods* outside Budgens in Crouch End. All the produce is from a small scale artisanal food producer in the Abruzzo village where Stroud Green Olive Oil is sourced.

It will include scrumptious *white truffle oil*, *black truffle paste*, *pleurotus mushrooms in oil* and *mushroom salsa* - all excellent Christmas fare.

The white truffle oil is truly amazing. I opened a bottle to check its
taste and the powerful aroma of white truffle has chased me around the
house ever since. It even lingered in the dishwasher. Truffle is not
to everybody's taste - it's a bit like Marmite, you either love it or
you hate it - but if you are a truffle fan you will not be
disappointed. Stupendous!

Roll up! And read all about it on the Stroud Green Olive Oil Blog

http://stroudgreenoliveoil.blogspot.co.uk/2012/12/of-truffle-truffle-oil-and-hercules.html

I want some truffle oil. Possibly other things too depending on costs. I'm assembling something of an Ambruzzo hamper for my old man. I will do my best to find you.
Just bought some - and met my first SGorg-ist. Thanks, Krappy; and I enjoyed the chat. He gave me a little sample of the truffle oil before I bought some, and it is, as he says, mindblowing. Perhaps because of the rain, however, business is not brisk, so stir your stumps, fellow Stroudies, meet the man in person, and bring your wallets!
Business in the olive oil dept was far from brisk in Crouch End today....in a full day outside Budgens I shifted fewer than one-quarter of the bottles that I sold in just four hours on the Harringay ladder on Sunday. I am going to muse on this in my blog later. The rain didn't help.

The gourmet goodies (and especially the white truffle oil) were reasonably popular, so that made up for it a bit.

@Arkady I will keep back some truffle oil for you if you PM me with your number tomorrow or Saturday.

Next stop Ally Pally Farmers Market, Sunday
sorry it didn't go well, I meant to get up to CE yesterday but didn't make it, but I have picked up a couple of bottles of the olive oil ... But 'meeting the man in person' - what do you say? 'Hello, are you Krappy?' Hmm ...
That's exactly what I said, CK. He took it with dignity. What will you say when I meet YOU (as I possibly will, one day, if my hunch is correct), and I ask you if you are conformable?
Thank you for your kind comments, @Jenowl. If I may say so, your friends or relatives are clearly people of great taste and discretion. The oil is still available from Ash's fruit and veg shop on Stroud Green Road or direct from me (just private message).

I will shortly be announcing the first Stroud Green Olive Oil Clinic (comparative tasting of real and supermarket extra virgin oil) somewhere in Stroud Green - watch this space.

I am also blogging olive oil at the Olio Verde N4 blog (www.stroudgreenoliveoil.blogspot.co.uk) ... and would welcome olive oil recipes for baking on those rainy Sunday mornings this winter.
There are only a few bottles left at Ash's shop today but I'll be resupplying him over the weekend. If anyone would like to buy any direct from me, please send me a private message using the messaging function here (or I'll message you) to arrange a pick up / delivery as soon as I've bottled some new stock. Bottles are still £5. Happy New Year.
