The back room of the Shaftesbury Tavern?

I think there is still a back room at what used to be Sugar Lounge and is now La Pera or whatever. Restaurant at front but unused area at the back. Nice people and they would bend over backwards to be accommodating (would probably come up with cheap snacks or you might not have to order food at all. I sometimes go there just for a drink.)

They could save us the sofas? We had a good turnout for the last social, but the last time I was there, that back room was pretty empty. I did hesitate over it being out of our catchment area - I've either taken a cab home or gotten a lift home after going there! ("Greater Stroud Green" - I like!)

Its closer than you think. Cut through the back streets and you come out near the Noble in quick time. I can do the 6th. Will turn up this time.

Depends whereabouts in SG you are, but I find the easiest way is straight down Shaftesbury Rd - which is pretty much opposite Crouch Hill station.
