DLR was 1987. I remember it clearly. I used to play lots round the isle of dogs and the docklands. They then decided to build that horrible pointy silver building which led to ruin of that area
Back to the WBY - the terrace now closes at 10 which is a shame . What about smokers?
Good to see Tufo back on form again after Paola's Italian trip. Great reopening menu too.
Fonthill is getting like Kings Road .

Yes, seems familiar. I like Twin Peaks but wasn't an obsessive as many of my friends were. But there used to be a guy floating about who looked like Eddie from it. 40s, non-ironic mullet, looked like he came from the States. I always saw him on the stretch from SHR (five ways) towards the corner of SGR and Albert. That was ten years ago. Where is he now? Maybe cut his hair?

Did anyone notice the WB Yeats has started doing live music on sunday afternoons? "The Ragged Out String Band playing old time Americana and early bluegrass" from 1.30 to 4pm.

Sounded really good as walked past last on Sunday. Hopefully will help to draw more people in, as in turning into quite a nice pub. A bit of light food might help...

Yes it is great, and the Irish landlord is portly but shakes a leg in a way Jonty said was sexy.
So on Sunday you can go to Parko for panto, Tufo for tagliatelle and WBY for willy waving dancing. Good round here innit.
If only that crap Chinese take away opposite spent maybe 2p on signs, doing first decoration since 1956 and cleaning windows I would be a happy vet. No wonder Zmiscarra stopped going every night.
