Rasa rocks. It makes me even happier than Jai Krishna, and that's saying something.

Ended up in The Balti King the other night with a massive curry craving and a lack of patience to walk anywhere else. Very, very good. Far better than last time, when my Dansak was spicier than I usually like. Recommended.

However, as their promotional material says: "OPEN 6 DAYS - TUESDAY CLOSED"

You see I do like a good balti. I have fond memories of Sparkhill in Birmingham - menus under glass tabletops and naan breads the size of the table. Blimey - I'm beginning to sound like Busby ; )

Have to recommend Tiffin Tin - we had a curry from there a few weeks ago, 40 mins for delivery, and it was good. However, we chose better last night, delivered in 20 mins and the paneer kebab and other chicken and prawn dishes were great. The best delivery we have had in ages and ages. Will definitely go back (@David please note spelling of definitely) soon. Thanks to whoever recommended it!

Indian Ocean last night. We took the in-laws for their second ever curry. Their first time in a curry house in the West End ten years ago was a disaster by all accounts. Last night was excellent as per usual. We even took Jr with us in his pushchair. It was early evening and he was fast asleep and there were lots of kids at the other tables.
