Mobile coverage on Ferme Park Road...

Hi all, just registered - a very nice site!<div><br></div><div>I've just moved to the area (Ferme Park Road) with my partner, towards the bottom near the Londis. We're having issues with mobile coverage and I can see from googling it that this is a common issue for Stroud Green. We're both on o2 and haven't got our wifi set up just yet so it's a bit of an issue (mainly because my partner works from home regularly).</div><div><br></div><div>I wondered if anyone who has experienced this could offer some advice? </div><div><br></div><div>I spoke to o2 who said that a mast nearby is currently being fixed but then there are discussion threads online about this same issue from 2012/2013 and so I wondered if it's just the big old hill which is blocking the signal from the o2 mast in the centre Crouch End itself....</div><div><br></div><div>There are masts for Orange/Vodaphone/3 to the West of where we are, near Crouch Hill station and I also wanted to see if anyone had changed networks from o2 because of this issue and has seen an improvement? The EE coverage in the area are terrible. Thankfully they do a wifi boost for free at home which boosts mobile coverage to full.

I'm on O2, and have no signal in Londis. Even on top of the hill it's a bit hit & miss.

For free, @Sutent? I looked into that when I moved to my current flat in late August, & a signal booster cost a small fortune. Will look again!

You have to have a EE branded phone though. They do it free through the EE app

We will probably try TU go, the o2 app which enables you to use your wifi connection, similar to EE's booster.<div><br></div><div>Has anyone used a signal booster bought online? Also, are these legal??</div><div><br></div><div>Thanks.</div>

I recently moved from Vodaphone to O2 and the coverage is just as bad. I never get more than two bars of coverage anywhere in the house and no reception at all in the kitchen. You often get neighbours making phone calls in the middle of our road!

My O2 is fine everywhere except in the kitchen. I have a BT landline too so I use that for calls. Do not get Virgin media.

Just incase anybody comes back to this thread. The o2 mast was fixed in 2016 or 2017 and now gives a great signal at the bottom of the hill.

I've just taken out a new EE contract and I had planned to port my number from o2 but the coverage is terrible but I have 14 days to cancel if Wifi calling at home doesn't cut it or the signal is worse than o2 in other places like my work etc.

I did notice that I now have a signal while waiting to be served in Londis.
