Hello! We have been self isolating because I had been in touch with someone who has been very ill. As of this afternoon I have started to develop symptoms as well, and I would like to know wether I have a fever or not. I live on 16 Granville Road, if anyone can lend me a thermometer (or had a spare one, or sees one in a shop and doesn't mind buying it - I will obviously pay for it). I haven't seen thermometers in the shops lately...
Esther you can request this kind of help from your local rep in the Stroud Green Mutual Aid Group.....does anyone have contact details for this area immediately to hand?
This is the information from the SGMAG street-by-street. If you use WhatsApp or a mobile phone you can enrol into one of the groups by following the appropriate link below, then seeking help by chat.

We don't have a thermometer and I'm not sure where to get one (pharmacies, if they haven't sold out?). But do let us know if you've received the help you need.
I've been recommended to get box of fish from a catering supplier now doing home delivery - comes in 24 hours. I'll report back. Marrfish.co.uk/shopfront.
Anyone k now when the Godfreys website is coming back or if any other butchers are doing home delivery?
@krappyrubsnif I ordered some meat from them late last night, for pickup this weekend, as it let me log in despite the website saying it was shut. I got an order confirmation this morning so it definitely worked. They didn’t have much left in stock, though.
They are saying on the home page that the next deliveries will be on Tuesday, not sure if this applies to pickup from FP. I've made an order. We'll see.
I may be wrong, but I don't think that there has been any Royal Mail delivery (i.e. normal post, not parcels/couriers) since Tuesday, on Regina Road. Can anyone confirm? Is there any indication that staff shortages are impact mail deliveries in our area?
In the scheme of things it is not the biggest issue we have to deal with, except that the NHS has been sending letters out to people who are considered at highest risk - who are being told to stay inside for 12 weeks. (I have not seen one of these letters, but I think 'inside' can including going in to your garden, or on to a terrace or balcony if you have one). If anyone is any doubt as to whether they may be in this category or not, there is clear guidance from Public Health England:
I have it from another source that deliveries are suspended in Victoria Road and roads off (Lorne, Albert, Marquis, Osborne, maybe others) and they are looking for a replacement postman.....we haven't seen a letter all week. May be many areas affected.
The postie is going to have a heavy sack as nothing deliverred for a week for us in Lorne Rd. Going to have to catch up on the mags and periodicals which havent turned up yet.
@maz re joggers - parkland walk is horrific. sweaty, hard breathing fitness freaks seem to think their fitness is of more importance than people's lives. also seen them spitting or clearing nose on several occasions. the roads nearby are so quiet they should jog down the middle of the road and not risk spreading the virus so selfishly. the other aspect to this is that eventually police or army will no doubt close down parkland walk on health grounds and spoil it for people who are mindful of social distancing and taking real care.
@thompson No Royal Mail deliveries on Hanley either since the beginning of the week. The regular postman is off sick and they're trying to cover the route through overtime but it's street by street at most at the moment.
Corbyn St post is still arriving though running a couple of days late. On the other hand no milk delivery this morning - only the second or third time in 20 odd years
