Not exactly up to date or SG, I know, but I was in Rhythm, in Crouch End, with the lady, having a bit of jerk chicken one wednesday evening last summer. Noticed a group in the corner, thought, that guy does look a bit like "Samuel Jackson"..... it was him.
A few people in the restaurant, all trying to ignore the situation. All fell apart when he started to leave, with people coming up and asking for his autograph.
Going to have to go some to beat SLJ, that's a corker. Only 'cannae believe it' I've had recently was Helena Christensen in the Princess of Wales nr Charing Cross Stn. She looked approachable and stunning.
I saw Gilbert and George sitting outside the cafe by the corner of Tollington and SGR, the one beside the cab office, about 2002.
The Twelve Pins is or maybe was a great pub (I haven't been in since 2008). Never had any hassle, bar the odd beggar. It has the best guiness in London from what I know. I was surprised at the hostile reaction when I mentioned it as a possible meeting point.
And the crowd were a mixture between old Irish guys and down to earth alternative types. Back in the day my perfect pub.
I thought I saw Scott Mills running through Mount Pleasant Crescent on Friday evening but I don't think he lives around here. I'm usually quite good at star spotting so I'm a bit annoyed at my hesitance.
@tosscat. My girlf said she saw him on the 210 bus a couple of months ago and the lazy ass got off at Sainsburys. I was doubtful given the time (7.30pm) but she was adamant.....perhaps this second sighting has confirmed things! Could you smell Pinot Grigio in the air as he ran past?
