top celeb spot
  • For all the Jeff Brazier haters, i think you need to get a sense of humour rather than a definitive meaning of who is allowed to be called a "celebrity". If Jeff could hear you now, he'd politely ask you to stop being so mean and to go and sign the facebook petition to get him back as a presenter of Channel5's OKTV.

@andy. I can confirm that i never had any intention of releasing any balloons in Finsbury Park in memory of Jade Goody and that i did not know her. I shouldn't have lied.

  • That Chelsea girl from EastEnders has been round my gaff she was pretty wasted...

  • I took the disco legend John Morales for a pizza at pappagone a few months ago... (I doubt anyone on here would have heard of him?)

also had Leee John from the 80's band Imagination round mine.
  • lying is bad.

  • I've had a cup of tea ( not a euphemism ) at Russell Brand's house.

  • as a sun reader the mr b  celeb spot is my favourite...nicola t   is  a great page 3 girl ... best celeb spot i think...

and eastenders dr legg on w7...

  • Ah, lovely Sophie Okenedo cycling north on SGR. I didn't have a chance to give her a Slap!

  • Carol off Eastenders on the London Overground at Highbury last week

  • A day late with this but yesterday I spotted Damian Lewis getting into a car* outside the council offices on Upper Street.  What with his recent/current starring role in Homeland I think that was a pretty good spot.

Also, not as local but I was excited to see Lesley Manville (of many a Mike Leigh film) in the Soho Curzon at the weekend....

*I don't know what sort of car it was....
  • I am reasonably sure I saw Paul Young today.

Worthy of mention because he was wearing a hat. We were unsubtly waiting for him to take it off and put it somewhere.
  • I think I sat opposite Jessie J on the tube today.

  • The landlord of the Nickleby is a former roadie for Paul Young.

  • The beautiful and talented Beverly Knight was in our place last Sunday, James McAvoy in The Maynard...

  • I saw Andy on the tube this morning!

  • I danced with Beverly Knight, she's very nice.

  • @misscara that is a crap spot. the woman next to me was reading a really interesting semi-classified thing about afghanistan, so i was engrossed in trying to read it over her shoulder.

  • Beverley Knight lives on Lancaster Rd. a friend of mine got her post by mistake.

  • World swimming champion Mark Foster was in the noble last Saturday night, although he and pal seemed to get frustrated about having to wait a few mins to get served so they left. Got to admire a man with principles

    This, inevitably, made me smile.

  • Not local.  Not even this country, continent or hemisphere.

Martin Clunes, whale watching off the south east coast of Sri Lanka.  He drew attention to himself by shouting "Look, a dinosaur!", then got the hump when another Brit recognised him and took a picture.

  • Hulk Hogan was in Petek last Saturday. Astonishing. Chang

  • Some recent Crouch End sightings: Phil Davis in Budgens; Will Young walking past the Clocktower; Sean Hughes outside Costa.

  • Peter Capaldi in Crouch End starbucks - seen a few times in there. He looks FURIOUS!!!

  • I recently watched Ken Russell's Lair of the White Worm, in which a very young Peter Capaldi plays an archaeologist who, being Scottish, obviously has bagpipes with him on a dig. And appears to carry a grenade and a mongoose in his sporran.

  • Always nice to see a young Peter Capaldi pop up in films where you'd not noticed him at the time. eg Les liaisons dangereuses, and Local Hero.

  • Just spotted Tim Minchin outside the belly dancing place in crouch end.

  • He's ever so nice. Seen him out and about locally a few times.

  • Boy George barged into me in the discount bookshop on Southampton Row last week. Even had the nerve to tut at me. I just responded with a very cheerful 'oh I AM sorry!'

  • Hugh Grant and I went through adjacent metal detectors at Parliament this evening. And then when I got to my meeting, I was sat a couple of seats from Newsnight's Michael Crick, who would have really impressed me if not for prior Grant situation.

  • Sinead O Connor walking down Red Lion St at 8.50 am this morning
