Oh for goodness' sake. Are you sure? Islington have banned any new sex businesses but I suppose that's Haringey. Can someone unearth the planning application?
@Mirandola, am only sure of what they told me. There is, I suppose, a possibility they were taking the mickey; there is also the possibility that it will be a genuine massage business rather than a knocking shop. Breath NOT being held!
Planning permission is definitely for a legit therapy/sauna place rather than for a brothel madquerading as one. If it turns out to be the latter what do we do to get it closed?
Seriously, what's so wrong with a knocking shop? Next to Nandos it could be convenient for many and do a promo with Beyond Glam across the road help bring that part up to scratch. Better than on the streets and the vibes from that old bakery will be cool - sausage rolls, fondest fancies etc. Chang
Nothing wrong with the sex industry as long as people aren't exploited. I lived in Germany where it's legal and there are no pimps (from what I've heard). Sex workers are self-employed and pay tax. People on here joked about turning Chapter One into a gay cinema/sauna a year or so ago. No problem. I'd prefer that than loads of pissed up idiotic people shouting their heads off.
@Misscara: "We can't tell you where it is, or we'd have to kill you".
So, Mistress Cara, it is possibly an s&m dungeon with a speciality 'snuff' service ... Dignitas-lite on the doorstep? ... or (since s&m) possibly more likely called Indignitas!
Curiouser and curiouser ...
