First time seeing it in the flesh today. Obviously the timing wasn't ideal but the quality of finish is good and I was pretty impressed. M&S going in will be key but so much better to access the tube station this way.

Had my first visit to Stroud Green in three years and felt a bit sad seeing the Old Dairy boarded up. Lots of empty shops too.

Away from stations they often try to lower the track but at Crouch Hill they'd have to rebuild the station too so that would be ££ and very disruptive

Yeah maybe, buses can't do that though. Reckon they'll do Hornsey Road and Hanley Road which will be much slower - though means better bus service for me!

I think it's because the bus service needs to get to south Tottenham/seven sisters? And the only way it can really do that is via Finsbury Park but the road closure on SGR means it has to go via hornsey road. You've said all of that so not sure why …
