I briefly considered changing my name by deed poll for that very reason. But this way I get to blame the bad memory of SG.org users if I fail to get elected.
It means if you want to see a bunch of almost random pictures tenuously connected by a common Russian given name, then that's one way to waste your time.
Arkady is a good name - makes me think of Arcadia (though I have to say with apologies I would never vote LD - however much I might wish for the building of Arcadia in Stroud Green ...)
Good find! How did you find it, I'm damned if I can make it appear using the Islington planning search.

Presumably this is because they definitely will be opening a new Western Ticket Hall in City North. But I can't find an accompanying planning app for that. But then maybe there won't be one... this app just seals the doors on the Wells Terrace entrance - there is no mention of demolishing the tunnel or the entrance, even though both will be surplus to requirements. Odd.

On the tube application: it seems to be just closing off the entrances to the ticket hall - not to the tunnel itself. The plans only show two entrances being sealed, not the third which goes directly into the tunnel.
And the elevations are titled "Temporary Staff Welfare Accommodation".
So perhaps the ticket hall is being converted into staff facilities while work goes on elsewhere in the station? (Tickets could be sold from a portacabin in the interim, as they were at King's Cross when that was refurbished.)
It does makes sense! Really hard to get any information from them. Let me see if I can't apply a little pressure; it would be really helpful to know what's going on.
Interesting, a screening opinion has been submitted for the former George Robey Pub. There are no additional details but this type of request comes before a major planning application is submitted. So appears there is something in the pipe-line!

I'll post more details when I hear.

Also, application for extension of 11 Goodwin St (http://goo.gl/maps/3hHTd) to add an extra storey. I would like to wake up one day and find this area had gone back to 1800 and was mostly fields . Lorne Road must have been a pond of some sort. Go over to a maypole where chapter one was and see Miscarra's distant ancestors avin it large.

Yes Charter Court is going in 2017. We had a note round a few months ago. The resis go to Enfield. I had not thought that they could build a big block like the one in Woodbury down. It would change this area a lot.
