Traitor to the Noble indeed! Last time we see him in the Noble he was having a hissy fit (well - he moved table outside, huffed a bit and rolled his eyes) because there was another dog in there already which yapped at his schnauzer.
going to throw my hat into the simon pegg side of the ring here - mainly cos his dog likes my dog (my dog is not bothered) and we once had a drunken conversation about the creche. well, monologue on my part really.
anyway, was thinking that if every time I went into my local pub, I got a damning comment on the local website, then I might keep myself to myself too. also, when there's a dog yapping at your dog and it won't shut up then the best thing you can do is remove yourself so that everyone else can continue to drink in peace! Hate it when people can't keep the yappy dogs quiet.
@katiejane - by the way, were you on parkland walk the other day, with baby & friend? said hello? or there are two 6ft plus blondes in sg.
To resuscitate a old thread, I nearly ran over Angus Deayton's family today in Crouch End. Not Deayton himself, as he was already safely over the zebra crossing.
But I did nearly get one of his kids. (I jest, of course. I stopped carefully and in good time. Sort of.)
I didn't know he lived round here.
Also I was walking up Victoria Road and a man opened his front room curtains. It was super hans. I thought to myself that I should check the house number. Then realised that was really creepy and moved on.
Also I saw that Connie singing contest woman in Porchetta. She knew my friend and came over. She had a sore throat and as a singer she refused to talk and was writing stuff on a pad to us.
You can't knock the Sunshine, a greasy spoon is a greasy spoon. Their full breakfast goes for only slightly more than a shit coffee in Front Room Cafe. It's not their fault celebrities want to hang out in there.
I know we've ALL established that Super Hans lives near SGR and we've pretty much all seen him (he often goes to the Old Dairy), but a few weeks ago in Woody's he dropped a pound coin near my feet and apologised to me as he bent to pick it up. That was special.
My mate saw David Tennant in Crouch End some weeks ago. Minus points for not being on SGR, plus points for celebrity scoring.
They come and go like lost souls. Occasionally, comedian and self-confessed northerner Paul Tonkinson walks up and down Strouders, and Eddie "En-Ra-Ha" Marsen in Wetherspoons. There's also that bloke from Prime Suspect, whose name escapes me, on a soho scooter.
There's an interview with the guy who plays Super Hans in yesterday's Guardian. He says he finds it weird that everyone assumes he's like him in real life. Let's hope he doesn't read SG.org.
Extending celebrities into politicians, the only notable one I've seen was [Douglas Alexander](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Douglas_Alexander) in Porchetta before Christmas. Makes a change from Lynne F.
On Friday, Pegg was looking miserable in the Noble, however outside a passing chap asked me for a light. It was...him off Grange Hill who was the little one in London's Burning that got done by the News of the World selling coke to a fake sheikh.
Now I can confirm that Douglas Alexander is indeed a lower SG local. He and his family used to live in the very same flat we rented off Crouch Hill, two doors down from Arabella Weir (but I think that may have been after her lodger David Tennant moved out). He came round to fetch his post one evening and gave us a bottle of wine - a very nice man.

Have seen Super Hans in the fullback a couple of times too... unfortunatley he was supporting Tottenham
Whatever next, McAvoy in the World's End?

Leaving your lover for someone you meet on a celeb reality TV show is one thing. Eating in there is unforgivable.
Hurrah for the Sunshine! Hurrah for Rainbow!
Hurrah for that other one next to Miso that had the sign saying "we are still make Borek at the back".
*Vomits*

Oh yeah, Pegg, in a 'Crouch End' tshirt...
No one else for AGES.
Now THAT's a celebrity...
