I really enjoy looking at the Advent windows. Such a lot of effort has gone into them and they are very creative. A good way to get a bit of exercise and to get around the neighbourhood.

It went on until 7.30pm for a lot more people. Stapleton Hall Road up to Mount View were in darkness. Mind to the barbers/hairdressers on Stroud Green Road. Luckily i only had no power for a minute too.

A metal boundary marker to say you are in Haringey I think. One on opposite side.

Stapleton Hall Road, back of Mind. Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to the boundary marker on Stapleton Hall Rd, on the bback of Mind. Looks like a new wall for flats.

For Finsbury Park Cycles you have to ring to make an appointment. Then you can be in the fast queue to the left of the shop. They were very good looking over my bicycle. I like them but yes, bicycles are selling fast.

I finally saw the two swifts today. Late April/Early May is when they fly over so perfect timing.

If you fancy a birthday treat or just a treat, I can recommend afternoon tea from The Sugar Tea Rooms, Wood Green. They deliver a cream tea to you, sandwiches, scones and some cupcakes. We had the Victoria Sponge and Lemon Drizzle ones.

Never seen any greenfinches or chaffinches in the garden. Glad the starlings are back. The swifts should be back in early May. I haven't seen any butterflies yet.

Yes, the goldfinches can be seen in the area. They used to come to our bird feeder. It's great that the wildlife is thriving. You can even hear the owl in the distance in the Parkland Walk.

I enjoyed the new entrance too. It was quiet but not for much longer I bet. It's so nice to not have to walk along the bridge. Looking forward to the Wells Terrace side being open next year.

I've used Moreton Dairies for quite a while now. You can look them up online. It's the ones who cover North London not the North West one. We get deliveries on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.

The Björktrast, the name in Sweden for the Fieldfare is more common than here. It tends to be in woodlands, farmland in England rather than urban areas. It is a bird in decline here and is on the red alert list of the RSPB. We usually only see them …

Hello Maximus, She's a black and white short-haired cat. I have allergies to cats usually tabbies and long haired but have never had a problem with Bobby. I can't post a picture of her as I don't have web based photo storage.
