Hello, is knitting on tomorrow evening? I've just started and am trying to make a cardigan for my niece. I can do the basics of knit 1 pearl 1, but can't cast on. Anyone be able to help me? I have a pattern, wool and needles, just need to start the damn thing now

She didn't mention spinning, but that was a few weeks ago and twitter rather limits the depth you can go into. Does she use the weaving shop on Seven Sisters Rd? There's a lady there who's keen to do a demo.

Wow! I have often seen foxes around the reservoir so you would need a shepherd/shepherdess and a good dog. The weaving shop had an advert in the last Middlesex WI mag.
