I saw Andy in the Noble last night. He's now a Stroud Green celebrity I reckon. He was talking to another man who may or may not have been Dave. Unfortunately nobody knows what Dave looks like.
Now that I recognise him under that hat, sightings of Simon Pegg round here are common as cats. A couple of weeks ago I more or less tripped over him pushing a buggy at the end of my street. I wanted to say to him 'Pram in the hall - there goes your creative career, mate."
I was sure I saw Ray Davies a couple of years ago driving a burgundy Renault saloon up CE Broadway, likely heading home from Konk. I heard he lived off Muswell Hill, on that side road that has the farmer's gate on it. Not certain though.
He's from Fortis Green, hence on of the Kinks albums Muswell Hillbillies. I'm pretty sure he lives somewhere in nearby - he also just released an album with the Crouch End Festival Choir. How much more Norf London can you get...?
I saw Paul Morely a few weeks ago, when the sun was out on Holloway Road, carrying Sainsbury's shopping. He looked at me, or possibly my car or maybe my hat in an admiring way. (Not lecherously).
I see Robert Peston all the time at my gym in Muswell Hill, he never looks at anything apart from sky news. His crunches are a bit rubbish, does the chin dipping thing, rather than focussing on the stomach.
His ability to get scoops from the Prince of Darkness and Cyborg ahead of the elected members of the House of Commons would suggest he does have some kind of special influence in certain circles.
I'd quite like Robert P to be my friend, but he always has the headphones on, and doesn't really do eye contact. I always want to say something really clever and funny about the state of the modern financial services environment, but nothing really jumps into my mind, when I see him. ' I like your t-shirt', seems a bit lame.

That was indeed David.
As much as I think Mr Pegg is a miserable bugger I don't want to think we did an <a href="http://www.stroudgreen.org/discussion/534/top-celeb-spot/?Focus=19235#Comment_19235" target="blank">Alan Carr</a> on him.

Used to see Nick Robinson around Drayton Park, though that's a bit out of the SG remit.
