That is nearly as bad as loud nail-clipping with the clippings flying into the aisle or onto the person next to them. It's surprising the number of people who do that on the bus.

The W7 is often littered with chicken bones and boxes, sauces, etc. It's usually worse in the evenings when it pulls into FP bus station to start the journey back up the hill.

Another endorsement of Callis (near The Queens). I took a pair of shoes in at 10am last Saturday, they were re-heeled (and cleaned and polished) by 2pm. Very good service.

I received a bottle of the olive oil for Christmas. Very tasty, much better than our usual brand.

miss annie, you are lucky your cat doesn't bring you ratty presents. Our cat methodically killed off a whole family of rats from over the road earlier this year, leaving one each morning on the lawn for us to find. One of them was headless.

@barnesbq 'luxury' - yes, I thought the same thing - what constitutes 'luxury'? That word is applied to flats with thin walls, open plan kitchenette, tiny bedroom and a shower-room without a window. Which is not luxurious.
